We believe that the success of our schools depends largely on our teachers. The first requirement for all staff members is that they must love what they do. We seek unique individuals who are team players and dedicated to creating and maintaining a positive learning environment that is coupled with laughter and smiling faces.
Each school is supported by a Director, who has previous childcare center management experience, an appropriate degree and certified to teach all training given to staff members. The Director is responsible for the overall operation of the facility and emphasizes the best customer service practices. At many schools, depending on the size of the facility, there is also an Assistant Director who supports the center and fills the Director role in the Director's absence.
All Lead Teachers meet or exceed the state requirements to work in early childhood; their education ranges from a CDA Credential through a Bachelor’s Degree and multiple years of experience in a preschool setting. All Assistant Teachers have experience and are typically working towards their degree.
Every member of our teaching staff goes through a complete and detailed training program during their first week of employment. This week includes in-depth training on state specific rating requirements, child abuse and neglect, fire safety, child care and sanitation regulations as well as company policies and procedures. In addition, all teachers are required to complete training in first aid and CPR.
The Mentor’s responsibility is to provide training for all new staff for their respective age group. Each employee must also maintain his or her yearly in-service training requirements that are mandated by each state. We provide monthly workshops as well as an annual Professional Development Day so that all staff receive the most current teachings in the early childhood field.
